Raul Da Silva and Geoffrey Harker
The Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) will hold an enquiry on a date to be confirmed, to consider whether or not Raul Da Silva, the rider of GINGER JACK, and Geoffrey Harker, the trainer of GINGER JACK, placed fifth in the attheraces.com William Buick Exclusive Blog Handicap at Ripon on 27th April 2013, have committed breaches of Rule (B)59 and Rule (C)45 of the Rules of Racing respectively, in that they failed to ensure that the gelding was run on its merits.
There was no enquiry held by the Stewards on the day of the race, but the ride was subsequently reviewed by the BHA.
